I bought this and what they have sent me is a non alkaline battery. Earlier same make i had purchased which clearly states Alkaline & is of different color. alkaline battery if same make is listed seperately on Ebay & croma site & is costlier. they should not misguide this one as alkaline when it is not. Not expected from house of TATAs. But they r misguiding.Its a fact.
Make does not mean anything.The things u r wearing,undershirt,phone etc almost everything is made in China.In US,people are frustrated,everything is imported from China.Huge BoP trouble.ALL major companies manuf. in China.Nokia,Micromax etc.But design,R&D etc is important not place.
Haier is a Chinese comp but I guess it can defeat many MNC giants.See its pricing and whether you can buy them.
Here,it is made by TATA and imp. thing is what is filled and in what quantity.We don’t know but it depends upon trust upon Tata. Don’t know what Heavy duty implies for quality but it looks it will be 1.5-2 times heavier than normal Rs 5-6 AA.Weight is directly proportional to its work.
At 10 a piece from TATA,not bad.It has to be better than min.And the cheapest test for Croma products so that if it fails,other High End products are forgotten.Else,so many Croma at stores like Tab etc,at its site.Acid test and I put my money on it,at least the cell.
