Make sure you choose the Fare that has a higher Base Fare(hover your mouse over the fare).
For example, you’ll see GoSmart, GoFlexi,GoPromo fare on the GoAir site.
Though GoSmart is lowest of all, the basefare is also the lowest=> less discount. Choose GoPromo (if available) as the basefare is more. When you total up, you’ll end up getting more discount with GoPromo fare than GoSmart.
