Well I was quite skeptical about online purchases especially appliances. So this is my first appliance in amazon. I m writing the review 10 months later in October to make sure the review is detailed
Ordered on Jan 18th and got it delivered on 21st, a day earlier . Kudos to that (that's a sunday ) 👍
The product came in regular amazon packing. (They should have bubble wrapped this product)
The usual Philip packing is pretty sturdy but it would be better to wrap it cos the box might crush during transport leaving marks. So Amazon delivery please keep a note. But mine was delivered with everything intact.
This is like my 3rd or 4th philip steam iron. Been using steam iron only for a decade now and I shall say philips is pioneer in this .
The product was absolutely beautiful, no scratches or anything. Oh boy its lighter than my previous model. And very sturdy despite light weight. I don't think it will break for a fall.
The heating steaming plate is sturdy Teflon coating and it's gold colour ❤❤ love it. Slides smooth on fabrics . Kudos
Comes with two settings one for heat and other for steam. Also has a spray option and pretty ergonomic in the handle and using the spray. Nice 👍
Heats up pretty fast and the cut off light lets u know.
The water reservoir take up around 200 ml i think. Haven't measured exactly but one fill and i pretty much finsh 6-8 cotton shirts. You would be doing more if its synthetic.
All the settings work like charm. I use only drinking water in the reservoir and avoid tap water as it might leave scales in. So do follow that.
Been using it almost daily (at least 3 pieces of garment every day) and sometimees in long stretches like two hours or so (for pressing in between stitching)
So it has been quite powerful and easy to use .
Even the sturdy cottons and linens press smooth under this in a jiffy. Mostly in two pass. 👍👌 Love it.
