    Received this product a couple of days back. I would say the following after two days of use.

    First the Ups:
    1. Looks beautiful - glossy scratch resistant finish. Would suit any decor.
    2. Build quality is good too - thick cable and solid plug.
    3. Surge protection is guaranteed, but I don't want an opportunity to test the feature ;)
    4. Holes on the rear side for wall mounting using hooks/nails.

    Few drawbacks that you might like to take note of before purchasing:
    1. Single switch for all ports. Individual switches would have been great. But this seems the norm today with all extension boards - be it Belkin or Havells or any other brand.
    2. The switch looks a bit flimsy to me - integrated on off button. I recommend turning the extension on and off directly from the board where you plug it in.
    3. Cable length should have been longer..

    The brand is of high repute - Philips and so the product should last long. Recommended for use with costly electronic equipment - TV, Laptops, Audio systems.

    Go for Belkin if you can afford the costly price tag. Havells is a cheaper alternative, but suffers from poor build quality.

    I have ordered 2 of these. The build quality is excellent as you would expect from Phillips. On-off button seems sturdy and plugs fit in firmly. Not sure how good the spike busting quality is. Difficult to say whether there have been any spikes.

    Only minor issue is the length of cable. It is 1.35 m long so you cannot use this as an extension board. However it is long enough to keep on a table adjacent to the plug point. On-off button is on the board which makes it convenient to reach.

I think the real test would be longevity, I will update this review if anything untoward happens in the future. Right now it's fine.     Bought it for my brother to use in hostel. It runs a heater and 2 laptops reliably so I'd say it does what it says. Build quality itself is not great, and unless you use 3-pins the plugs will be loose. So, I recommend you buy it if it going to stay in one place forever. Still, the cord is long and strong, the switch is good, and running it at near full load for days on end gave no issues. The price I paid (350/-) is worth it.
