Really cool for small DIY projects

I bought this instrument to craft some small equipments for my lab. After a lot of research (among Dremel tools, I must confess), I homed on Dremel 4-65 for the following reasons:

a) Variable speed. Increases flexibility in terms of materials with which I could use it.
b) Corded. I am planning to use this heavily, and have no patience for situations when I have to wait to get the battery charged.
c) Good ecosystem in terms of accessories. They say that all Dremel accessories can fit on this...

Awesome Price and Great Delivery

Warranty & Service : I am based in Hyderabad and initially went to Ranigunj (Biggest hardware market in Hyderabad). The only official Bosch dealer in Hyderabad said the rate for this is 10,800 /- and not a rupee less. When I mentioned to him that it's just 9500 on flipkart, and that I was willing to accept upto 500 more, ie. for 10,000 /-, he said he could not make the deal. He warned me about Warranty not available for Bosch products purchased online.

Never disappointed with Dremel

This is not my first Dremel. If I had more luggage allowance, I would have brought my Dremel with me from Australia. They are so versatile if you are into fixing, restoring or modifying things like I am. You can cut metal, polish, wire-brush, sand and drill with the Dremel. With the flexi-shaft and handpiece you have even more manoeuvrability. I've had a Dremel 4000 for three years, and now I just can't be without one!

If I had one 'con' to owning a Dremel it is that they don't provide ...

Terrific purchase

Very useful for new hobby enthusiasts. Parts available are adequate for the most basic stuff. You will have to get additional accessories for more specific requirements. Remember, this is not meant for very heavy duty stuff.

Just what I needed

This is a beautiful tool to create various artsy things such as small wood sculptures, wooden items and so on. and also it is very good for house hold needs if you need it. Very nice Rotary tool :-)

Nice finish and better power...

The delivery was done within the promised period. The item arrived in good health. I started using it right away and was very satisfied. I feel it is slightly heavy but balancing is nice.

I though I would get some yatra coupons for this purchase. There were no coupons inside.

I strongly recommend corded tools because I had sad experiences with battery operated ones. Two of the battery operated dremels died early.

I am using an extension board and I hope they can make the cable a bit longer.

Dremel 4000

Pretty useful & versatile for our work in the electronics lab. Cannot (and not intended) to do heavy work but very useful and time saver on PCBs, thin sheet metal and plastics.

Problems I think are getting the consumables - not sure where to buy them
